Episodic Model of Disability

In an area such as this where the medical, epidemiological, social and political environment is constantly changing, having access to up to date written resources is a challenge. Much of what you will find in the literature regarding HIV and Occupational Therapy will be dated and pre-1995 will focus on palliative care, grief, loss, death and dying.

In this section we have put some pointers towards some useful websites, books and journal articles, although you will find much more by using any popular web based search engine.

On this page is also a list of completed and ongoing projects involving Occupational Therapists with people with HIV, as well as suggestions for student projects.
